Connectors

Connectors & Multi-source Knowledge

Expand Awareness's "brain" boundaries from scattered code snippets to enterprise-grade knowledge centers. Connect once, and watch your AI grow memory across all your associated workflows.

Connectors Graph Overview (Note: Conceptual architecture & semantic network illustration)

Why Connectors?

Previously, AI's memory could only be built around single chats or files you manually uploaded. This doesn't align with modern R&D and collaboration habits. In reality, your core designs live in Google Drive, your team wiki is in Notion, and product specs might be hosted on platforms like Feishu (Lark).

Awareness provides an integrated Connector mechanism. Once authorized, it automatically scans, structurally parses, and builds network links out of massive documents across these platforms in a fraction of a second, completely eliminating the need for tedious copy-pasting.

Supported Core Platforms

You can directly enable the following third-party sources from the DocumentsTab (Documents Console) in the Awareness Dashboard:

1. Google Drive

  • Best for: General cloud drives, PDFs, and unstructured assets.
  • Mechanism: One-click app authorization. Awareness natively recomposes .docx, .pdf, and .md files in workspaces marked valid for the AI, maintaining reading experience and context flow.

2. Notion

  • Best for: Agile teams' structured workspaces.
  • Mechanism: Crawls Notion block relationships via Node graphs. Your lists, pages, and sub-pages are recognized by the AI natively as "Topological Graphs" rather than flat text.

3. Feishu (Lark) — Coming Soon

  • Best for: Enterprise & team collaboration (High prevalence in Asia).
  • Mechanism: Uses OAuth for one-time authorization to get internal tenant API tokens. Automatically reads and subscribes to document mount relationships. Decouples complex structures automatically.
  • Status: Pending Feishu Open Platform review for external user access. Backend ready, frontend gated behind available: false.

Graph View

Once knowledge is imported and processed, it's no longer a flat, one-dimensional list.

Awareness introduces the DocumentsGraphView panel. Based on the underlying relationship extraction network (Nodes & Edges), you can visually see: how the design spec imported from Feishu, the business requirement in Notion, and the Python code you just wrote yesterday in your IDE intertwine and co-exist in your project pool as a unified Knowledge Cluster.

This graph association lets you manage your external systems with a "human mind": always expanding, evolving in a network.
